-DEN comes from a race where the success of your life is measured by how much you have learned, so he is always eager to learn & experience new things.

-He is generally good-humored in all situations.

-He views others not so much as individuals but as vaults of knowledge; when he kills someone, he doesn't feel bad for taking a life but for depriving everyone from learning from the person he killed.

-There is no magic where he comes from, so he will view it as very advanced technology.

-DEN is usually pure black but his dye has come off in Hetherev; he feels a bit awkward displaying his markings even though he can't remember why he wouldn't have them.

-He can't actually forget things, so it's a very strange feeling for him to suddenly not remember his past.

-He can normally turn invisible thanks to his implants replacing his blood with a glowing green fluid, but, upon arriving in Hetherev, something's gone wrong with them & the fluid isn't getting into his bloodstream, causing it to back up in the cells on his back and leak out.
Brief History:
DEN's race is generally nonviolent, and have no concept of murder & war. When they first made contact with aliens, they were shocked to learn how differently aliens viewed life. They were afraid that their culture would completely disappear if they intermingled with aliens, because their goal in life was to learn as much as possible & to put into practice what they learned. So they lied to the populace about the existence of aliens, and remained within their own solar system.

DEN was kidnapped by aliens while on the outer reaches of his solar system & experimented on, giving him the ability to turn invisible. He was excited to learn about the existence of aliens, but told not to tell anyone else about them. DEN couldn't resist the idea of learning completely alien concepts, and left his planet in search of the ultimate learning experience. This was essentially a self-exile, so before leaving his planet, DEN dyed his fur pure black to remove the markings that denote his status & growth within his culture.
